Study tips from a student that took this course:
1. READ THE TEXTBOOK -It really does help. You won't know all the information that will be on a test just from paying attention in class. Odds are, you won't cover everything even if you do pay attention, so read the material! 2. Make Notecards -As you go through the reading, make notecards for all key vocabulary words or concepts that you need to learn. This way you'll make sure that you're memorizing exactly what will be on the test. 3. Take Practice Tests -Take practice tests that Mr. Spinrad puts on his website. They're good practice for applying what you've learned and most likely they will be similar to the real test questions. 4. Order a Review Book -This only really applies to AP classes, but review books are perfect to learn concepts quick because they teach you the most important information in simpler terms. (ex. AP Crash Course books) Lastly, don't second guess your ability to do well on a test, trust yourself! |
